KUMAR PRABHAS

KUMAR PRABHAS

Chief Executive Officer

Prabhas

Kumar Prabhas is the Chief Executive Officer of Hinduja Tech Limited. An alumnus of IIT Kanpur, Prabhas has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry. Prior to joining Hinduja Tech, Prabhas has worked with L&T Technology Services, Unisys, Sasken, Wipro and Multitech Software.

Immediately preceding Hinduja Tech, Prabhas was the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Whole-Time Director on the Board of L&T Technology Services.

At Unisys, Prabhas managed dual responsibilities as the Managing Director of Unisys (India) as well as that of Global Head of End-User Services.

Prior to Unisys, Prabhas served as the Chief Operating Officer of Sasken Communication, where he led the company through significant growth of Sasken’s services business. He played a key role in preparing the company for its successful IPO.

At Wipro Technologies, Prabhas was the worldwide sales leader for the Telecom business. Prior to Wipro, Prabhas has worked at Multitech Software where he, along with four others, started Multitech Software India operations.

FAIZ AHMAD

FAIZ AHMAD

Head – Product Engineering

Faiz has more than two decades of experience in the automotive and engineering industry. Prior to joining the Hinduja group, he was part of Tata Motors, EDS Technologies and Sumi Motherson Group.

Began his career on the assembly line of Tata Motors and gained hands-on experience in tooling, machining and corporate planning. He then moved on to design and development, where he worked on and supervised the development of many new-generation commercial, as well as passenger, vehicles.

Has a deep interest in alternative energy and data analytics. He has also provided consulting to many large organizations to improve their business processes, leading to the organizations witnessing significant performance improvements.

A mechanical engineer with an MBA in operations management, Faiz also holds a Masters degree in cyber security and cyber law and a postgraduate diploma in international business strategy.

PRASHANT NIRMALE

PRASHANT NIRMALE

Head – Digital Technology & Solutions

Prashant has more than two decades of experience in the IT Industry. Prior to joining Hinduja Tech, Prashant had worked with Crompton Greaves and SAP. He has spearheaded various roles including Consulting, Software Development, Sales and Management which has provided him a well-rounded view of the industry.

Over the years, he has gained invaluable experience implementing & maintaining IT applications for manufacturing industries and building large cross-cultural teams across geographies. After his stint with Crompton, Prashant joined SAP India’s International Consulting Group (ICG) and led projects locally & abroad. He later moved to SAP Custom Development Organization as part of rationalization of businesses within SAP. After close to a decade working with SAP, Prashant had a brief stint with a German company, managing their India operations as Country Head.

Prashant has a degree in Computer Engineering from Pune University and has keen interest in latest technologies and how they can be leveraged to deliver business excellence.

    VIJAY MALIK

    President - Americas | EMEA & Marketing Head

    Holds a Masters degree in Physics and an MBA in marketing from the University of Kurukshetra. Has 29 years of experience in sales and marketing for technology services, solutions and products in India and the United States. Prior to joining Hinduja Tech, he was associated with NIIT, Tata Elxsi, and Syntel. As a sales manager, has led large sales teams and built successful operations across India. Subsequently, as corporate marketing manager, he has been instrumental in identifying and negotiating partnerships with global leaders in design and manufacturing, multimedia, and digital mapping, and launching integrated solutions across India.

    As one of the youngest general managers in a leading technology services company, he headed the sales, customer support and finance teams (of more than 50 members) and enhanced the organization’s profitability by improving customer satisfaction and increasing service sales.

    During his sales career in the United States, he successfully established and managed start-up operations in quick turnaround markets. Involved with the global delivery model since 2002 and has conceptualized various business models to deliver time, cost and quality efficiencies to several Fortune500 companies. Has also won an award of excellence for sales performance.

    SANJAY PATIL

    SANJAY PATIL

    Senior Vice President – Sales (India)

    Mechanical Engineer with over 22 years of experience in engineering and IT services, primarily in managing executive relationships with key customers in Europe, United Kingdom and India. Prior to Hinduja Tech, Sanjay worked with Tech Mahindra, Geometric, Intelmac, SOLIDWORKS and Greaves group. He was involved in business development activities across Engineering, PLM, manufacturing, industrial automation and controls, and IT services.

    Has led successful business development initiatives in Europe, Middle East and Africa for large offshore development centres (ODCs) that accelerated offshore revenue growth through an engineering approach, ensuring low-cost product innovation and launch.

    GANAPATHYRAMAN S

    Chief Financial Officer

    A commerce graduate and an associate member of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India (ICMAI). His work experience spreads across 32 years, during which he served in diverse sectors such as manufacturing industries, renewable energy and information technology services.

    Successfully championed the growth of multiple established and start-up organizations. For about a decade, headed the finance function of two TTK-group organizations; engaged in the manufacture and sale of condoms and foot-care products. He has played key role in the growth, expansion and diversification of these organizations.

    During early stages of his career, he was associated with prominent corporate groups like Murugappa (bicycles and heavy engineering units), Hinduja (foundry business) and WS Industries (high-voltage electrical equipment business).

    During the later stages of his career, he played a crucial role in raising venture capital funding and strategic investment for many start-up companies. Before becoming a part of Hinduja Tech, he was CFO at two start-up organizations in the wind power generation and distribution sector: Coromandel Wind Energy Limited and Trishe Renewable Energy Solutions. Prior to these organizations, he was CFO at Novatium Solutions (Ericsson-invested) – an organization providing cloud-computing solutions.

    PETER STEPHENSON

    PETER STEPHENSON

    Head - Human Resources

    Peter has over two decades of global experience in the Human Resources function. He has worked in various industries including Product Development and Services Companies pertaining to IT, Engineering, Pharma, and EPC contracting. He is a result-oriented leader with a strategic approach; responsible for design and successful implementation of People Practices around Competency Development, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, Succession Plan, Compensation & Benefits Management and Internal Communication.

    He had a long association with Engineering and PLM companies, so prior to joining Hinduja Tech, he was with Prion PLM & IT solutions as HR Director handling the Global HR function. For a decade he held the position of India HR Head of Dassault Systems and its brand companies like CATIA, DELMIA, ENOVIA and erstwhile Deneb Robotics. He began his career as a Personnel Officer at Al Shirawi Group of Companies, Dubai, UAE.  As a part of his role, he has travelled extensively and is highly sensitive to culture and practice.

    He had migrated to Australia for a short while before returning to join Hinduja Tech. In his current role, he has extensively worked in building People Practice frameworks and aligning them to organizational needs. He plays an integral role in culture building and institutionalizing organizational values, creating and developing Talent Management initiatives that include Policy & Process, L&OD framework, Performance Management, and HR Transformation initiatives. Also, he owns Immigration, Corporate Communications and Talent Acquisition as a part of his portfolio.

    He is a certified Next Generation CHRO from IIM Bangalore, with a Master’s Degree in PMIR from SJC, Trichy.
